Wife and I went out tonight and within an hour we had caught 5 fish. Two reds, two grouper, and a nice trout.

The bite turned on as soon as the tide began to start flowing in. This is the biggest of all of them.

Word on the street is that picture ended up in the sunday paper.

I got this pic of Gus (from the paper) up on my fridge. Fun kid to fish with. I was out with him Saturday morning when we caught a 15" blue and let it swim in a tidal pool with fresh caught mullet until I decided to keep him.

tried fresh water fishing last night with Lorna. We caught a bass with a cast net. Pretty fun. she ran the fresh water rig while I hunted bait. Finally caught a finger mullet and put it on my saltwater rig. Something hit it hard right there in Goodby's Creek.

Lorna was so stoked all these fish were jumping around us because it was sun down. Definitely going back.

I don't know how your fixed for a boat but for fresh water fishing the specks are tearing it up at Rodman and in Orange Lake....you can limit out in a couple of hours with some really nice sized specks.

Nice little Bluefish caught off my parents dock this past Saturday evening. Super fun on light tackle. Bite was really slow, so I cast netted a bunch of greenies and chopped them all up and tossed them off the dock. Works every time.

mikey, it's in the panhandle, almost due north of Destin, FL.

crack, the dock is still undergoing repairs. my dad was going to get a small skiff, like a whaler or something, but he just found a really sweet deal on a Hunter 31. If his offer gets accepted, the lift will remain empty for even longer.

very nice. unless he's big into fishing or partying in destin, the sailboat is the way to go.

if he gets it, he needs to team up with my pops... then they'll have both covered.

i'm sure they'll be in Tradewinds together soon enough.
